How chat works in instant meetings:
- A temporary chat is available as soon as the meeting starts - everyone can message right away.

Want to keep the chat?
If at any point you decide you want to save the conversation.
- Click Activate Chat History.
- In next step you can turn the temporarychat into a permanentroom.
From here you can:
- Save all messages from that pointforward.
- Keep the conversationalive after the meeting ends.
Please note
Saved chat history is only visible to internal participants.

Host controls
It is possible for people in the same meeting to work as a host - to add few restrictions to the meeting. These are called host controls. See below for the actual features:
Meeting access levels
One setting, four levels from least to most restrictive:
Anyone with the link - this is the default: external participants always wait for approval to join the meeting
Anyone within the organisation - anyone within your organization can join the meeting
Members only - only selected members are allowed to join the meeting
No one (fully locked) - Locking a meeting is just setting access to "No one"
It is also possible to update this setting at room creation, in the meeting lobby and ongoing video meeting. If performed during the ongoing meeting, the new setting kicks in for new participants that are joining the meeting.
