Disable Recording

You can now easily control which calls get recorded - without rebuilding your entire call setup.

Simply add the new Disable Recording (Turn off call recording) node to any call path. Any call that passes through it will not be recorded, transcribed, or summarised by AI - no matter what your other recording settings say.

What this means for you:

  • Let callers option out of recording with a simple button press.
  • The no-recording rule follows the call, even if it's transferred.
  • Stay compliant with recording consent rules in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Belgium.

You can choose where and how to add the node, and what should happen at the end of the call path - this is just one example of how to find and add the node to an IVR.

How to guide

  1. Log in to the Admin Portal.
  2. Go to the Table view.
  3. Select an IVR.
  4. Click on a touch tone option and select Advanced in the pop-up window.
  5. Choose Disable Recording.
  6. Click the + icon next to Success and select the event that should happen when a caller chooses this touch tone option and does not want to be recorded, for example a Queue or a IVR (Keypad menu).
  7. Don't forget to click Save.
